Parent Committee Meeting

Today, 5-6:30pm at the Pool! All parents welcome:) We are discussing Woodland Champs, end of season awards, and fall team. 

Following the meeting is Float Decorating. 

🎆 4th of July Parade

For the first time ever, Lincoln Lightning will be participating in the Lincoln 4th of July Parade!

We appreciate everyone's support in helping us make our first parade appearance a memorable one!

If your swimmer plans on participating, please RSVP in SwimTopia so we can get an estimate of how many swimmers will be attending.

🎨 Float Decorating Day – July 2

We need all hands on deck to help decorate our parade float!

📍 Front of the pool

Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to donate decorations and supplies. If you have signed up for an item, please bring it to a coach as soon as possible so we can begin organizing everything. You can also bring in anything you think would be a fun addition to the float:)

⚡ Parade Morning Details

📍 Float Location: McBean Park Drive (park side)

⏰ Arrival Time: 8:15 AM

Please have swimmers arrive wearing:

~A Lincoln Lightning shirt

~Red, white, and blue attire

~Comfortable walking shoes

~Water

~Optional:Goggles on their head:)

We will have floaties, flags, and other fun items for swimmers to carry during the parade.

Some swimmers may be allowed to ride on the trailer; however, they will need to have a waiver signed beforehand, which I will have morning of the 4th, it will be first come first serve to be on the trailer (all 6 & unders will sign one in case they get tired of walking)

Parents are welcome to walk alongside us in the parade! If parents are unable to attend, that's okay—we will have coaches walking as well:)
