Hi Storm Families,

Tomorrow is an exciting day as we host the first home swim meet in Storm team history! We are looking forward to welcoming another team to our facility and giving our swimmers the opportunity to compete at home.

Please take a few minutes to review the information below, as well as the attached Storm Watch Weekly and meet map.

Please note that no setup will be allowed on the pool deck. Both teams will be located in the park area throughout the meet. A map showing team locations and meet layout is attached to this email.

Meet Information

📍 Location:Mcbean Pool

61 McBean Park Dr, Lincoln, CA 95648

⏰ Important Times:

• Swimmer Check-In with Coaches: 6:45 AM
• Estimated Warm-Ups:7:00 to 7:25
• Meet Start Time: 8:30 AM
• Estimated End Time: 2:00pm

Please make sure your swimmer checks in with their age group coach Starting at 6:45 AM no later than 7:00am. If swimmers do NOT check in by 7:00am, they will be scratched during the coaches meeting because coaches will not know they are present.

If you are running behind and will not arrive before 7:00 AM, or if your swimmer cannot attend the meet the day of, please email Coach Savannah at [email protected] so we know your swimmer is either on the way or needs to be scratched from events.

Food & Drinks

We will have:

• A food truck located in the front parking spaces (at 10:00am)
• Coffee available from the front office

Parking

Our parking lot is relatively small, so please plan to arrive early if you would like to park onsite. Additional parking is available along the surrounding streets.

During the meet, we will post a "Parking Lot Full" sign when necessary to help limit vehicle traffic between the park and pool area. We expect many swimmers and families to be crossing between these locations throughout the day.

To help keep everyone safe, we will have:

• A designated crosswalk
• A staff member assisting with road crossings

Questions During the Meet

Since this is our first home meet, we appreciate everyone's patience as we learn and grow as a host team. Due to city requirements, Megan will be serving as the Meet Referee and may not be readily available to answer general team questions.

If you need assistance during the meet, please come find me or another coach at the coaches' tent, and we'll be happy to help.
