As we head into the swim season, we have a few important reminders and updates to share:

Volunteer Interest Form

Please take a moment to complete the following Google Form and indicate which volunteer positions you’re interested in:https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdUQtLPfgAAejCDHX3AEnwt-GC-5xqR7kWf0YpYpRF6aTeCng/viewform?usp=dialogOur volunteer coordinators will use this information to assign roles for each swim meet. Parent Kick-Off Night

Tuesday, April 21 | 5:30–6:30 PM

McBean Pavilion

Attendance is mandatory for at least one parent per family. During this meeting, we will review expectations for the season, including practices, meets, equipment, team events, fundraising, and volunteer opportunities. You’ll also have a chance to meet the coaches and parent committee, followed by a Q&A session.

Registration Update

The team is filling quickly. If you have not yet registered but would like to, please contact me as soon as possible. Swimmers will not need to try out (as previously stated) if you reach out before April 16. We want to ensure we have an accurate count of returning swimmers before allowing new swimmers to register.

High School Swimmers Welcome

We are currently looking for more high school–aged swimmers. Please help spread the word—this is a great opportunity to stay in shape and continue building skills ahead of next year’s high school season.

Practice Schedule (April 27 – June 5)

Monday through Friday

• 6 & Under / 7–8: 4:20–5:00 PM
• 9–10* / 11–12: 5:00–6:00 PM
• 13–18**: 6:00–7:15 PM

* May include select 8-year-olds depending on registration and pool space** May include select 11–12-year-olds depending on registration

Team Gear

Beginning next week, team suits and caps will be available for purchase through our team store at SwimOutlet.com. We will send a follow up email next week when it is ready.

Practice Equipment & Swap

Each swimmer is asked to have their own set of fins for practice. You can find recommended options here:https://lincoln.swimtopia.com/equipment Swimmers should also have goggles and a swim cap (especially those with long hair).

Following the Parent Kick-Off Meeting, we will host an equipment swap. If you have gently used fins, suits, shirts, or goggles your child has outgrown, please bring them to exchange with other families.
