Good Afternoon, Lincoln Lightning!

The meet last week was amazing!  The kids did so well. Thank you all for getting them there and making it great even though we had to reschedule. A couple reminders for the next two weeks are below.

1. Ribbons are done and will be at practice today. If it is raining, I will put them in the snackbar area. Pool is nice and WARM so don't worry about the kids being cold if it rains. It was 85 degrees this morning.

2. The October 25 Meet will open tomorrow. Please declare your child to swim by next Monday, October 20th. 

3. Gold Time Standards have been created for the team. These are motivational times for swimmers to reach for. Swimmers who reached these time standards at the past meet will get a special medal. Additionally, I will have 2025 Sacramento Area Meet of Champions Time Standards posted for kids to see too. I think we will have a few kids make these times at the last meet. There will be a special award for anyone who does.

4. A big shout out to Tyler Mack, Olivia Beckler, Molly Hylton and Madison Hylton for helping at least one day per week this whole season so far with our younger swimmers. Your help has been greatly appreciated!

5. Floating Pumpkin Patch!!!  The Recreation Department will be having at Floating Pumpkin Patch at McBean Pool on October 25th from 2-4pm. It is $15 per person and includes a pumpkin, decorating, games, and other activities. If your kiddos aren't too tired after them meet bring them back in the afternoon!
